• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Sgt Shultz II

Ronbo was my initiation into 1/6 trading many moons ago...like the dealer who gives ya your 1st freebie knowing you'll come back for more. Thanks Ron, you got me hooked!!

Ron is an awesome guy to deasl with. I remember one trade where he sent me some thingsa that I hadn't known about OR expected to find in the box of things I had traded for! A great guy to deal with!

I just got an envelope in the mail from Ron "Sgt Shultz II" with a set of Bbi feet in it. I had posted I was looking for a left foot ages ago and Ron found a set and sent them to me. Thanks Man I owe you one. Now I can finally dress and kit up my figure.

Thanks again Ron

Ron was the first taker on some things I offered up for sale last month. What a great guy. He included a bunch of extras that helped a newbie out, and shipping and correpondence were great. A real pleasure, hope we can do some more trades in the future!

Decision time - do I use a quick quip or long diatribe to basically repeat what everyone else has already said. Easy guy to deal with who always kept in touch. A smooth transaction that went something like this:

Cool stuff
Great price
I pay
Box in mail 3 days later.

Couldn't have gone any easier than that. Thanks Ron!

PS - I think I owe you money on delivery - you didn't charge me enough.

John

I put out a request in "Crap Game" and Ron comes to the rescue. What a guy ! I wish you good luck ! Thanks for the tracks !

Just finished a trade with Ron and now will be able to finish up my 88 crew. Great to deal with.
Thanks, Billy

Ohoy!

Got my self a shiny 250 from Ron the other day, was a smooth transaction. Good communication and fast delivery! I have traded with Ron before, a couple of years ago, and still have only good things to say about him!

I just completed a deal with Ron for a custom item he built. The item is excellent, the price more than fair, communication with Ron is always prompt. He's one of the good guys you can trust. :!: :!:

I'm in the process of constructing a carrier hull for Ron and from the remarks here sounds like he is a man of his word. ... Harold

I've just done my first deal with Ron and couldn't be happier.

A nice guy to deal with, great comms, and his packing skills - WOW! I always take great care when I send stuff out in trades, but Ron's was a work of art - he put a lot of loving care and attention into making my package 'bomb-proof' to ensure that the mule pack saddle arrived safely - which it did, and it took only 6 days from CA to Hong Kong.

Thanks, Ron - I hope we can trade again.

David.
