    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

As much as it pains me to write this it must be done. The SAS 50.cal pintle mount that is being offered for sale was crafted from one of my resin gun mounts. Then remolding the part and offering it for sale as one of your own is straight out piracy.

In the past several people have contacted me in regards to recasting my wares for modification and reproduction. All of these people called me and told me their intentions which I agreed to, I would have also agreed to this project as well, however to recast my modified part without my knowledge behind my back and to then post a cocky in your face comment shows the true character of this individual. I sent this individual a PM in regards to resolving this matter so I would not have to post in the open forum in this manner; however I’m left with no other choice. Buyers and other part manufactures beware,
 
For clarification what was copied was the gun mount. He purchased my mount which is for tanks, removed the bottom portion replacing it with his own, then reproducing it and selling it.

If he was to entirely scratch build the part, or to make alterations to my part for himself it would be ok and there would be no problem here. The fact that he took mine, recasted it with his slight modifications and is selling it without my permission is the issue at hand.

I would like to remind everyone that cooler rules are that unless members have first hand knowledge of the issue they are not allowed to reply in the topic.
