• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Dragged from the Jaws, new dio.

You can really see the solidality they had between each other, when they help each other even in the face of death, awesome dio !

WOW!!!! another super dio and foto shoot!!! Kind of reminds of scene from the movie Stalingrad could almost pass as a screen capture from the movie.... Well done Peter.... Harold

I really like the composition of this one. Very well done.
Every shot is great, I think my favourite is the last shot where you use the fade effect. It works really well.

Tim

I too wonder how Peter does it... between his foto shoots and creating his super head sculpts

Another perfect dio peter. Your ability to crank out paintings leads me to believe that you have a crew of Elf's working for you. Where did you hide their Gold. lol.lol.lol. On the other side of the coin the painting has a very eary resemblance to a photo of the Twin Towers after 9/11.

Thanks guys for your replies, David, I can see what you mean, I guess devastation looks pretty much the same in any decade and as for Elfs, I wish I had a few talented painting ones, could do a lot more dio's then lol.

Cheers,
Peter.

Wow !! that is fantastic! love the movement and detailing you have created. I think you have captured the movement and excitement of an old 60's comic cover to perfection, well done that man ! 8)
