• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

    Moving up (lots of pics)

Hi. I finally did my first outdoor shoot. It was tiring and a great learning experience but fun to say the least. Anyway I did a scene where a platoon is moving up to reinforce a successful counteratack. All suggestions, comments and criticisms are more than welcome.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery - WIP.

They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so I'm trying to do my best Peter the Painter impersonation. I was inspired while watching Saving Private Ryan the other night. I used to be an oil painter until i developed sinus problems related to the drying agents in the paint. Never...

    Retreat to the Tannenberg Line

Hello everyone, Here is the second part of our dio shoot that we pulled of this past weekend. This was taken a few meters from where the group took last years photo shoot. This turned out to be a great piece of terrain that provided great scaled trees and awesome background foliage. Just on...

    Tight Boots

Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm doing a flak crew figure, but I can't get the boots on. Short of filing down the figure's heels, is there any other way? Bob

My dearest Ruthy May, I'm doing well, and I hope you are also. I wanted to write you today, as I'm not sure when I will get the chance to write again. All the boys of the 101st are suiting up as we prepare to jump behind the German lines in the next day or two, a thought I'm not too fond of...
