Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.
The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.
The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.
One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/
There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.
Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.
Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.
All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

That said, the rubber is going to react to that heat and discolor somewhat. The also...
Awesome stuff...
I have to laugh at the water bucket... we used a version of that with a plastic shower head in the field... you would hang it over the gun tube and instant shower.
But that is great stuff!

Wow John! That is just amazing. Always amazing work. A great addition to your super collection.
Just out of curiosity, what does a 1/6 Sherman tank weigh (RC version on average).

That was my thought too :-P... relocate the ammo box. There is not a lot of leg room up front in those jeeps. Probably something between the seats, but away from the gear shift.
But the build looks great so far.

I am in shock and saddened to hear this news. Mike's quality and attention to detail were second to none. Outstanding researcher and craftsman. Rest in peace.

Recently I took it upon myself to stroll hobby lobby and "browse". During the course of this adventure, I stumbled upon some pre-cut wood items (I believe that they were meant to be small candle holders. That gave me the idea that these could be turned into a bridge railing. So, with a much...
Wow.. that is amazing and shows you how little things can change ones life and grow into a great story. This was the greatest generation. God Bless them all!
